For site optimization some major search engines are providing strategies .For example Google has a site map program to help webmasters to study the problems in indexing their web sites and it also provides data on Google traffic. Like this Yahoo has site Explorer that provides the way to submit the URLs for free. It verifies how many pages are in Yahoo! Through this the webmaster can drill down on links to the pages.
